It’s Back! MPMK Gift Guide Sales Page – Updated Daily!

Each year my mega gift guides collection grows in popularity and each year, right around this time, I start seeing a lot of my favorite items from the gift guides go on sale. And each year I try to figure out the best way to quickly let you know about these sales before they are over.

One of my favorite things about this time of year, after all, is getting my kiddos the perfect engaging toy at a steal of a deal!

So last year I tried something new.

Because most social media simply won’t allow me to reach all of my followers when I want to, I decided to create this sales page to keep you all as updated as I can with affiliate links to all the sales… and it was a huge hit!

Today I’m happy to announce the sales page is back! My suggestion?

Pin or BOOKMARK THIS PAGE!!! (and share it with your friends – they’ll love you for it). On your phone, on your computer-  where ever you’ll get a chance to check in on it daily.

I will put the newest deals I see, as well as the guide the pick is from at the top of the page as well as the date that I found the sale. My hope is this will make it super simple for us all to get our kids some high-quality toys at some great prices!

Ready for today’s Deals? Here we go…

LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack $59.80 (6 years and up)

On Sale for $39.99 for the xbox 360, Playstation 4, and Wii U

Deciding when to let your kids start to play video games is a very personal parenting decision. When you do take the plunge, though, this is a fantastic way to start. LEGO Dimensions is a kid-friendly video game that encourages creativity as well as game play by incorporating LEGO building into the process. I love that! I also love that one of the three characters in the starter pack is a girl, Wyldstyle from The LEGO Movie.

Once kids have the starter pack, they put together the three minifigures (Batman, Wyldstyle and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings), then the game guides them on how to use the LEGOs included to build the “LEGO gateway” on top of the toy pad. Once that is done, kids can place the 3 included figurines and batmobile onto the gateway and they’ll actually show up in the game. So cool!

After that, there are all kinds of expansion packs kids can buy, build, and add into the game to create something completely unique like Harry Potter, Ghost Busters, and Batman all playing side by side.

As video games go, this one is incredibly hands on and creative and I love that the price of the expansion packs makes them the perfect thing for kids to do chores and save up for! We are taking the plunge and getting this and the Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle for our 8-year-old this Christmas (and I’m sure the 6-year-old will get in on some of the fun too.)

Simon Air $19.99 $14.88 (6 – 12 years)

This is the super cool, futuristic version of the original addictive memory game we all knew and loved as kids. My son went nuts for Simon when I introduced it to him and I knew I had found a great toy. After all, what’s not to love about something that doesn’t have a bunch of pieces to scatter around the house, will entertain the kids for an hour or more, and is less than 20 bucks?

The new touch-free technology that senses movement only adds to the fun and is a hit when playing alone or with friends. This one is becoming our go-to for birthday parties, it’s always opened with a big smile.

Pie Face Game $14.88 $12.99 (2 – 12 years)

This super fun game has been a huge hit ever since it debuted. We got ours last month for my son’s 8th birthday and had the best time playing with it. Everyone from my 2-year-old son to the grandparents was rolling on the ground laughing.

The premise couldn’t be more simple; spin a number, put your face in the holder, crank the number of times that you spun and see if you get a “pie face”. Because kids love getting dirty and silly, this one is always a winner.

You can check out the video of our family playing for the first time here.

Richard Scary Busy Town $24.99 $15.99 (3 – 8 years)

I have heard great things about this cooperative, non-competitive game from multiple sources but was really convinced when a mom of one of my son’s good friends was raving about it. Everything about this game is impressive, from the 6 foot long game board, to the amount of imagination and teamwork required. In fact, the company behind this game, Wonder Forge who also produces another of our favorites, Cat in the Hat, I Can Do That!, has won over 120 prestigious awards by creating good-for-you games that encourage teamwork, healthy competition, and get-up-and-go active play. This is the perfect game for children of multiple ages to play together and for when you hit that stage when kids pout a lot about losing or start to become ultra competitive.

K’NEX 375 Piece Delux Building Set $27.16  $19.30 (6 – 14 years)

My son spotted this at a consignment store shortly before his 5th birthday. When I went back to get it for him the very next day, it had already been snatched up – a sure sign of a good toy. K’NEXs have been around for a long time and with good reason. If your child loves LEGO, this is a natural next step for him or her.

The pieces offer lots of flexibility and many of the guided builds have dynamic, moving parts. This set includes a variety of builds including a Ferris Wheel, helicopter, train, etc. I also love that they have an entire educational line of sets that teach specific scientific principles such as the Intro. to Simple Machines: Gears and Intro. to Simple Machines: Levers and Pulleys.

Note: the simple and compounds machine education set is currently 36% off!

Automoblox $37.99 $22.10 (3 – 6 years)

These have been a favorite at our house for several years. Part racing toy, part building toy, they’re pretty much irresistible to both my son and daughter. I recommended them for stocking stuffers in the past and their flying machine counterparts, Manhattan Toy Airplane Vehicle, are another way to extend the fun beyond the cars. Now there are also larger sized automoblox Rescue SUVs: the Fire SUV,  Police Car, and Rescue Truck.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Puppies Remote $11.99 $8.88 (6 months – 3 years)

This looks like it serves a similar function as the Take Along Tunes and also gets great reviews. With this one, baby can learn about numbers, opposites, colors, greetings and first words. Buy one of each and keep one in mom’s car and the other in dad’s just to mix it up.  You won’t be sorry.

Shape Sorting Cube $14.65 $11.99 (18 months – 4 years)

Shape sorters are great for fine motor development. This one has lots of play opportunities so kids don’t quickly conquer the task and become bored. Plus it’s wood, not plastic, which is always a nice bonus.

Umbrella Doll Stroller $16.90 $12.56 (12 months – 5 years)

Around the time they start walking all kids, girls and boys, ABSOLUTELY LOVE pushing around toy strollers. When my daughter was a toddler, she liked her dolls, but wasn’t obsessed like some other little girls we knew. Yet she has always adored piling them into her stroller and taking them for a stroll around the house over, and over, and over again.

Recently, her stroller has been straight-up commandeered by her 18 month old brother who also can’t get enough of pushing it around all day. I promise you, if you a buy a toy stroller for your child, it will be one of the most-used toys you’ve ever purchased.

Lil Lockitz Best Friend Party Pack $39.99 $33.48 (5 – 12 years)

My 6-year-old daughter loves, loves making rainbow looms for her friends and trading them with her friends. So, I’ve been looking around to see if there were any other jewelry-making kits that would equally capture her interest. I think Lil Lockitz is definitely it.

Last month my husband purchased this rubber band refill set and she absolutely loved the charms that came with it… The Lil Lockitz sets are all about charms. The sets supply kids with gems, backgrounds and charms to fill and personalize each locket. Kids love the ability to customize the locket to fit their personality and if boys aren’t into the necklaces, there are bracelets and keychains to be made too.

Plus they’re large and easy to manipulate. And, like any good toy, there are a million different themed sets available. This Christmas I’m leaning towards starting my daughter off with the Best Friend Party Pack, which comes with a photo puncher to use your own photos in the lockets.

Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Books $4.99 $3.99 (3 – 10 years)

These books are one of the most popular items on my gift guides each year because they pack in so much bang for your buck. Right now the Princess Castle, My Town and Vehicles are 20% off.

Got a sticker lover in the house?  Welcome to the genius of reusable stickers! My kids love peeling them all off and rearranging them in the various settings over and over.  They’re also great for traveling and there are tons of themes to choose from.

And if you’re looking for permanent stickers, Melissa & Doug also makes some really fabulous books for that too- my kids especially love the Make-a-Face Sticker Pad and the Make-a-Meal Sticker Pad.
