Back-to-School with Abercrombie Kids

One of my favorite parts of back-to-school as a kid was getting brand new school clothes! Let me tell ya, not much has changed now that I’m an adult. I still get pretty psyched about picking up new jeans and cute tops for each of my kiddos.

So, I was super excited when Abercrombie Kids became our newest sponsor. As part of our collaboration, I went online a few weeks ago to pick out some back-to-school essentials for my three kids and, when I returned from our lake vacation a few days ago, guess what was waiting for me!

I’m actually a newbie to Abercrombie Kids so I was kinda blown away by the quality of their stuff.

Everything fit great and the tops were SO incredibly soft. Plus, I had no problem finding an outfit that I knew each of my kids would love. (Actually, it took me a while to narrow down all the great options!)

First up, my daughter S, who’s entering 2nd grade this year. Which makes her the PERFECT candidate for this adorable flip sequin tee.

Not only does it feature a unicorn (so on-trend for my daughter and her friends) but it’s also that super fun magic sequin material that can change from one color to another with the swipe of a hand. S just about flipped when she saw the unicorn changing from pink and gold to white and pink.

And there was even more to get excited about when she saw these patched pull-on jean leggings. The frayed hem, embroidered back pockets and interesting patches give them just the right touch of big girl cool while still being super stretchy and comfy.

Plus, the elastic waist is the perfect thing for my on-the-go girl who can’t get enough of the bars come recess time.

Actually, let me just take a moment here to say that all the denim is a major highlight of the Abercrombie Kids line.

I love the gender neutral theme of this whole collection! It can be worn by both boys and girls and is “for every kind of kid and every kind of adventure”. (It’s always great when clothes can be passed down from kid to kid regardless of gender!)

The icon full zip hoodies, in particular, are total favorites of ours. The ombre coloring is cool, but classic, and the kids report them to be super cozy.

My oldest son is entering 4th grade this year and he is all about the sports (and the sports wear).

This sporty tee looks great on him and meets his requirements while the curved hem and raglan sleeves make it so much cuter than a run-of-the-mill basketball tee.
